Host Mark Muro chats with Garry Forester from Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles and conductor of the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra, Randy Fleischer who returned to KSKA with Chris Brubeck to discuss Spontaneous Combustion, a new violin concerto to be premiered by the ASO at Synergy: Jazz Meets Classical.

Presented by the Valley Performing Arts at Machetanz Theatre in Wasilla, Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles opens tonight, Friday, October 26 – November 11. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM. This weeks guest, Garry Forester plays Jack Stapleton, a neighbor and butterfly collector.

The Anchorage Symphony Orchestra presents Synergy: Jazz Meets Classical this weekend at Atwood Concert Hall. Show times are Saturday, October 27th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, October 28th at 4:00 PM. Spontaneous Combustion composer, Chris Brubeck,  collaborates with violinist Nicolas Kendall (seen in video) who were introduced to one another by ASO conductor, Randy Fleischer in New York.
