Anchorage Assembly to extend public hearing on 2008/2009 budget

This week’s Anchorage Assembly meeting featured the second public hearing on proposed 2008 and 2009 municipal budgets. For nearly two hours people pressed their case for favorite programs. The assembly was non-comittal, except to say the public hearing will continue to a third session.
