Starring grows in Valdez

For most Alaskans, Christmas was over on December 26th. But for some residents of native coastal communities, it ended early this morning. It’s known as Russian Christmas – an Orthodox holiday that honors the three wisemen’s visit to the newborn Jesus. Over three nights, January 7th, 8th and 9th, it’s celebrated across Prince William Sound. And in Valdez, the celebration is growing.
