He’s visited Alaska more than any other president, including George Bush in recent years. The President of Iceland says “our territories are the most critical theater” for the global climate change debate. In his speech entitled, “The Role of the North in Global Business and Politics,” President Grimsson explains how rapidly melting ice in the Arctic stands to create a new “democratic dilemma” and insists citizens of north must begin to organize and provide leadership on a global scale.
