menorahOn the second day of Hanukkah, KSKA brings you Hanukkah Lights 2008, this morning at 9:00 AM. A perennial NPR favorite, acclaimed authors explore Hanukkah traditions in orginal stories written expressly for Hanukkah Lights. For Fresh Air fans, tune it at 3:00 PM when the show always repeats on KSKA. Hanukkah Lights pre-empts Terry Gross today at 9:00 AM.

Tonight at 9:00 PM, we’ll inch a little closer to Christmas with Jazz Piano Christmas XIX. This year, hear lots of Latin Jazz onstage, including original interpreation of holiday favorites performed in concert by established jazz stars and talented newcomers with: Brazilian pianist and singer, Eliane Elias; Afro-Cuban jazz pianist and composer, Arturo O’Farrill; prolific pianist and composer of Latin and world music, Rebeca Mauleón; and New Orleans’ own premier modern jazz pianist, Ellis Marsalis. BBC World Service immediately follows Jazz Piano Christmas XIX tonight at 10:00 PM.
