US Senate passes S-CHIP bill doubling money to Denali KidCare

The US Senate has passed a bill to reauthorize and expand a health insurance program for poor children.  The State Children’s Health Insurance Program, or “S-Chip” has a price tag of more than $32 billion.  It would more than double the amount of money that goes to Alaskans through Denali KidCare.
