Talk of Alaska: Transportation in Anchorage from a Bush Alaska Point of View

Transportation planning in Alaska’s largest city has always been based on assumptions of economic growth and the political muscle of our Congressional delegation.  But with the economy shrinking and fuel prices high, are more roads and bridges still the answer?  Anchorage has always been a hub for travelers from all over the state.  What sort of transportation system would the rest of Alaska like to see in Anchorage?   We’ll talk about it, on the next  Talk of Alaska.
