Yupik Language Books Promote Preschooler Learning Skills

Best Beginnings Alaska has just released three new early childhood development guides in Yupik.

The goal is to provide Yupik speaking parents of very young children with books in their own language and containing culturally relevant activities. As part of our continuing series on Alaska Native education, KSKA’s Len Anderson reports.
