During an Anchorage Assembly break and after the assembly had formally accepted the Wheeler Report, former Chief Financial Officer of Mayor Mark Begich’s administration, Sharon Weddleton, spoke to the press. Sitting on bench outside the Assembly Chambers, Weddleton had a stack of papers on her lap, including what she described as 16 pages of mistakes and omissions she said she found in the Wheeler Report.
She then pointed out two examples concerning the fund balance findings.
