City budget discussion draws enthusiastic group

Last night well over one hundred Anchorage residents told the city what services they wanted the municipality to provide and how taxpayers might be willing to pay for them. It was the second in a series of four public discussion groups this August on next year’s city budget – one that could face a shortfall of over 20 million dollars. KSKA’s Len Anderson attended last night’s session.
