Visibility Improves in Search for Missing Floatplane

Visibility improved over Katmai National Park yesterday, and a number of aircraft joined in the still unsuccessful search for a missing floatplane with four people aboard that hasn’t been seen since Saturday morning on the coast of Shelikof Strait.  Aboard was the pilot, Marco Alletto, of King Salmon, and Park Service employees Neal Spradlin, of Girdwood, Seth Spradlin, of Indiana, and Mason McLeod, 26, another park employee. The plane was a de Havilland Beaver belonging to Branch River Air Service in King Salmon.
