Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is in Alaska – he’s visiting Barrow today to meet with locals, and will swing through Anchorage tomorrow for a press conference. He’ll hold a town hall meeting in Barrow this afternoon with his Deputy Secretary David Hayes. The trip was planned for earlier, but was put off after the plane crash that killed former Senator Ted Stevens.
