Alleged Gang Leader Charged With Cocaine Distribution

In Anchorage an alleged street gang leader has been charged with distributing cocaine.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Alaska says 33-year-old John Pitaburkhardt Ha is accused of selling a kilogram of cocaine for $45,000. Authorities say Ha is the leader of the Hamo Tribe street gang.   The money was recovered when they arrested Ha.

Investigators also say a search of Ha’s home turned up 126-thousand dollars in cash and additional cocaine.
