Legendary Alaska Broadcaster Passes Away

Legendary Alaska broadcaster Tom Busch is dead.  He was a longtime manager of the Catholic radio station in Nome – KNOM.  Bush died unexpectedly in his sleep Sunday.  Bush was a major promoter of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, mentor to dozens of Jesuit volunteers who went on to broadcasting careers, and a member of the Alaska Broadcaster’s Association Hall of Fame.
