Two Dead After Head-On Crash on Kenai Spur Highway

Steve Heimel, APRN – Anchorage

Icy road conditions have led to a number of serious vehicle accidents in south-central Alaska over the past week.

A semi-tractor crossed the center line on the Kenai Spur Highway road Saturday morning and hit a vehicle head-on, killing two people from Wasilla who had just left a church function in Nikiski.  Dead are Paul and Pamela Trissell.  The driver of the semi was identified as Clifford Henderson of Anchorage.  He was uninjured.
