Fairbanks Proposes Changes to Fine Particulate Control Ordinance

The Fairbanks Borough has proposed changes to a fine particulate control ordinance passed by the assembly earlier this year.  Borough voters have since passed an initiative to halt a ban on inefficient wood stoves.   Borough project coordinator Kristy DeHaven says the changes, put together by the borough legal department, would erase enforcement of emissions, including two fines from borough code.
