Talk of Alaska: Wind Power in Rural Communities

Windmills are beginning to make a difference in Alaska’s energy picture.  Utilities have invested an estimated $87 million in wind power, and some locations have seen their fuel consumption drop dramatically.  We’ll have a review and look at prospects for the future of wind energy in Alaska,  on the next Talk of Alaska.
