Dallas Seavey Becomes Youngest Yukon Quest Winner

Dallas Seavey crossed the Yukon Quest finish line last night to become the youngest winner in the history of the race.  Seavey finished the 1,000-mile race at 11 :05 pm on Tuesday, about half an hour ahead of second place musher Sebastian Schnuelle.

Seavey, 23,  earned more than $28,000 for winning the race from Whitehorse, Yukon to Fairbanks.  23 teams competed in this year’s race, which started on Feb. 5.
