The Port of Anchorage wants the legislature to pony up $320 million for dock replacement projects. Port Director Bill Sheffield spoke with the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday. The port is owned by the city of Anchorage. and is in the middle of a $1 billion replacement of the old existing dock with a new structure.
