Man Who Refused to Stop Boat for Park Rangers to Testify Today

Steve Heimel, APRN – Anchorage

Jim Wilde is expected to testify Thursday in Fairbanks in his trial for failing to stop his boat in a national park at the orders of park rangers.  The feds say Wilde tried to ram the rangers.  Wilde and others contend the rangers have been engaging in a pattern of intimidation.  The state government is backing Wilde by asserting the feds do not have jurisdiction on the river.

Also in Fairbanks there was a hearing in the militia trial.  The prosecution revealed it had more than 100 hours of recordings of Scheaffer Cox and his minions, who are part of a movement that asserts citizen soverignty and the illegitemacy of federal income taxes.
