Alaska Legislature, Oil Tax Revision and the Anchorage Assembly

This week on Anchorage Edition, host Michael Carey is joined by Rebecca Braun, of the Alaska Budget Report, Tim Bradner, from the Alaska Journal of Commerce, and Steve MacDonald, from KTUU-Channel 2 News. They will discuss current status of the Alaska Legislature, what they have done so far and the implications of this session on next year’s. Other big topics include the debate on oil taxes and what revisions should be made, if any; the Anchorage police officer who wasn’t an American citizen; a trooper who claimed he could smell a pot growing operation well inside a building; and finally, the Anchorage Assembly’s budget update.
