Anchorage Gas Prices Fall Slightly

Average retail gasoline prices in Anchorage fell about two cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $4.20 yesterday. The national average was $3.93, according to the gasoline price website GasBuddy-dot-com, which tracks retail gas prices in the U-S and Canada.

In Anchorage, yesterday’s pump cost was 84 cents higher than the same day one year ago and are 8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

Yesterday Fairbanks averaged $4.16 a gallon while Juneau’s weekend average was $4.28.
