Court Will Allow Vote to Limit Pebble Mine Development

The state Supreme Court of will not review a lower court’s action that allows a public vote in the Lake and Peninsula Borough that would limit development of the Pebble mine. The lower court denied an injunction, and that was appealed. There has not yet been a ruling on the merits of the case, but it’s now not likely to be argued before the vote.
