Anchorage Gas Prices Fall Slightly

The average retail price for regular gasoline fell a half cent last week in Anchorage to $3.93 cents per gallon on Sunday. The national average was $3.47, a two cent drop for the week.

Sunday’s Anchorage price was 59 cents higher than one year ago and about seven cents higher than last month.

Also according to GasBuddy-dot-com, the average price for gas in Fairbanks was $3.96 cents. Juneau was $4.02.

GasBuddy-dot-com is a national gas price web site tracking over 200 cities.

Gas prices in Alaska’s rural hub communities and bush villages is normally much higher.
