Alaska State Troopers say they plan to ramp up patrols across the state through the Halloween weekend.
Troopers say the increased activity will take place between Tuesday and Nov. 1 and will mostly target drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs.
According to troopers, local law enforcement also will participate.
