Stage Talk: The Diviners

This week host Mark Muro visits with David Edgecomb, director of The Diviners at the UAA Mainstage Theatre along with actor and assistant lighting designer Peter Wallack.

Set in Southern Indiana in the 1930s, The Diviners is the story of a disturbed young man and his friendship with a disenchanted preacher. This funny and touching play affectionately examines the people of the American heartland whose needs for a real preacher push the community towards inadvertent violence. The Diviners runs Friday, October 5 – 21 with Friday and Saturday shows at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. Tickets: 786-4949.
