Two Hospitalized After Seward Highway Head-On Collision

There was a head-on collision on the Seward Highway south of Anchorage near Beluga Point on Sunday afternoon, closing parts of the highway. Tammy Chase, 39, of Anchorage lost control of her pickup while northbound, and John Magdas, 55, of Anchorage tried to dodge it but collided when the pickup bounced off the guardrail. Magdas and a passenger were hospitalized with injuries said to be non life threatening.
