December Schedule Highlights

November 30, 2011

KAKM, Channel 7 television, is pleased to continue bringing quality programming to your home. In this month’s primetime lineup you will find new programming as well as some of your old favorites.

ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS PART TWO: In the late summer of 2010, Dick Proenneke’s brother, Jake, discovered a closetful of unseen 8mm and 16mm film shot during Dick’s 30-year adventure living alone at Lake Clark. The thousands of feet of film was turned over to the producers of the original “ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS” to see if it would be possible to create another  documentary for public television. The end result is “ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS PART 2.”

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY: In “It’s a Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play” the cast recalls the idyllic days of broadcasting by performing this holiday classic as if they were coming to you over your radio. Pour some hot chocolate, stoke your imagination and relive this heart-warming Christmas story by your radio (or TV). Filmed live at KAKM studios with cast and crew from Cyrano’s Theatre.
