Police ID Woman Found In Church Parking Lot
Anchorage police have released the identity of the woman whose body was found in a church parking lot.
Police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker says in a release that the homicide victim was Marya Abramcyzyk. The 44-year-old woman was from Anchorage.
Her body was found Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the Anchorage Unitarian Universalist Fellowship church on Turnagain Avenue in West Anchorage.
Police are calling her death a homicide, but haven’t released details of how she died.
