The National Weather Service issued this report Saturday morning:

HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR EAST ANCHORAGE THE HILLSIDE AND TURNAGAIN
ARM…

* LOCATION…EAST ANCHORAGE…THE HILLSIDE AND TURNAGAIN ARM.

* WIND…FOR EAST ANCHORAGE AND THE LOWER HILLSIDE…SOUTHEAST
WIND 25 TO 40 MPH WITH POSSIBLE GUSTS TO 65 MPH. FOR TURNAGAIN
ARM AND THE UPPER HILLSIDE…SOUTHEAST 50 TO 70 MPH WITH
POSSIBLE GUSTS TO 90 MPH.

* TIMING…WINDS WILL DIMINISH THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON THEN
INCREASE OVERNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH THE DAY SUNDAY. WINDS MAY
REACH WARNING LEVELS AS SOON AS SUNDAY MORNING ALONG TURNAGAIN
ARM AND THE UPPER HILLSIDE AND EARLY AFTERNOON FOR EAST
ANCHORAGE AND THE LOWER HILLSIDE.

* IMPACTS…TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT. TREES MAY BE BLOWN OVER.
LOOSE DEBRIS CAN BE MOVED AND DAMAGE PROPERTY.
