Congress Remains In Deadlock On Fiscal Cliff Deal

UPDATE: The Senate is expected to vote on a package Monday night. If it passes, the House is expected to take up the bill when it reconvenes at noon on Tuesday.

As New Year’s Eve approaches, Congress is at an impasse on the so called fiscal cliff, signs point to an agreement on taxes but it’s unclear what will be done about spending cuts.
