Up Close and Personal Over Knik Glacier

In mid September, three pilots fly paramotors (powered paragliders) from Bodenburg Butte, near Anchorage Alaska, to the Knik Glacier by way of the Knik River Valley.

With the flooded river valley and fall colors along the way to the glacier it makes for a “Flight of Fantasy”.

My name is Chris Reynolds, 52 years old, born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska until 7th grade 1972/73, when I moved to Anchorage to finish at Dimond High School. Now I live in the Mat-Su Valley at Big Lake, about an hour's drive from Anchorage.
