“When I’m 65 – What to Expect from Medicare” will address critical issues for making the right choices for your future healthcare coverage needs. Judith Bendersky will present the basics and answer your specific questions and quandaries.

Our presenter:

Judith Bendersky has her Masters Degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. After five years of her current job serving elders and people with disabilities, she went back to school and completed a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington, Seattle.

She has enjoyed working in public health education in Alaska for over 22 years is currently the Health Program Manager for the Alaska SHIP and SMP known as the Medicare Information Office and has managed this statewide function since 2008. She enjoys the wide variety of tasks and opportunities associated with keeping the Alaska SHIP on course as a counselor, trainer, preparing federal grant and report writer, and otherwise staying on top of all things related to Medicare and other health insurance-related topics.
