Parnell Appeals Subsistence Ruling; Shell Works To Jump Start Arctic Drilling Program

The Parnell Administration appeals a subsistence ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court. Shell Oil is working to get its Arctic drilling program back on track. Savings will have to be used to balance the state’s budget. Reapportionment of the legislature remains incomplete. The Alaska Miners Association meets in Anchorage on a variety of issues.
