Person Found Dead After Wasilla House Fire

Alaska State Troopers say a person has been found dead after a fire destroyed house in Wasilla.

Troopers and the state fire marshal’s office responded to the blaze shortly after 3 a.m. Monday at mile 62 of the Parks Highway.

The person found dead has not been positively identified. The house is considered a total loss.

Troopers say an investigation continues.
