Scuba Diving

Alaska may have more shoreline than the rest of the United States combined, but we probably have fewest ocean swimmers of any state. It might make more sense to go body surfing in Hawaii. But if you love the ocean, Alaska’s waters are a fascinating world to explore as a diver, where discoveries are still being made. On the next Outdoor Explorer, we’re going to talk about underwater adventures with three Alaskan scuba divers who do it frequently, we’ll learn how and why you would get into the sport, and find out about the adventures they’ve had and cool things they’ve discovered under water in Alaska.
