Alaska State Troopers say a Big Lake man’s disappearance last year is suspicious and they are investigating it as a death.
Troopers say 46-year-old Daniel Roy Buckwalter was last known to be alive the afternoon of Aug. 4, 2015, at a home in in the Meadow Lakes area.
Two days later, troopers happened upon his pickup truck but could not find the owner.
The vehicle was impounded after Buckwalter was reported missing Aug. 12.
Troopers say foul play is suspected in the disappearance and they are looking for further leads.
