Eagle River Suspect Sought

At last check, Anchorage police were still on the scene of a gun related incident in Eagle River that started shortly before noon on Monday. According to APD spokesperson Renee Oistad, police got a call regarding a man with a gun threatening people inside a residence.

A SWAT team is on the scene at the Husky Street home.

Oistad would not comment on the incident, because it has not been resolved yet.

Several people exited the home at the time police were called. Police say the gunman knows the other residents of the building.
