Steller Sea Lion Pup Arrives
The Alaska SeaLife Center is celebrating the birth of the Steller sea lion pup they’ve been anxiously awaiting. The female pup was born at 5:35am on June 20th, with no complications. Both pup and mother are healthy.

300 Villages: Sand Point
This week, we head to Sand Point, a fishing community of about 1,000 people and the seat of the Aleutians East Borough. It's also in view of the Pavlof volcano, one of the most active in Alaska. Tiffany Jackson is executive director of the Qagan Tayagungin Tribe in Sand Point.

Hot Weather Settles Over Most Of The State
