Travis Gilmour

Public Media Director

Travis Gilmour grew up on a family farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. After receiving his BA in English from Oregon State University, he immediately moved to Alaska to seek his fortune. Travis has completed the Foraker Certificate in Nonprofit Management, and was a member of the first cohort of the Foraker Catalyst program.

Prior to taking on his current position, heading up many of our online and community engagement initiatives, Travis put in a few years as Alaska Public Media’s Membership Manager.
