Web Extra: Dan Sullivan on running for Mayor in 2009

After filing a letter of intent with the state elections commission earlier this month, Anchorage Assembly member Dan Sullivan this week issued a press release announcing he will enter the 2009 Mayor’s race.

Sullivan is finishing his third and final permitted term on the assembly. The west side representative was first elected in 1999 and re-elected in 2002 and 2005.

On Thursday, December 20, KSKA’s Len Anderson talked to Sullivan about his just-announced candidacy. The following is the full version of the conversation providing the basis for KSKA’s December 21 news story on Sullivan’s announcement. The interview runs about 10 minutes.
