Ferry ridership continues to grow

The number of people riding state ferries continues to grow. Preliminary figures from 2008 show about 340,000 people getting on board. That’s a 6% increase over the previous calendar year. Vehicle numbers were also up. Close to 110,000 cars, trucks and vans traveled on the marine highway.  That’s a 5%  increase.
