Alaska’s avalanche season is underway and Alaska State Troopers are hoping to raise awareness of the dangers of mountain backcountry travel. Beginning tomorrow, troopers are sponsoring avalanche workshops in Seward, Talkeetna, Fairbanks, Glenallen and Sitka.
