Bill Allen Seeks Delay in Sentencing

The key witness in the federal government’s corruption cases against several Alaska politicians is seeking a delay in his sentencing. Bill Allen, the former chief executive of oil field services company VECO Corp., today sought the delay to Feb. 28. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 28.
