Shane Iverson, KYUK – Bethel

Two men in Bethel have been arrested and charged with murder.  Bethel police say that Benjamin Kaiser, 19, of Hooper Bay, was tortured and then killed.

Taken into custody late yesterday were two Bethel men –  Harry Williams, 32, and Jeff Hout, 46.

Bethel Police say they found Kaiser’s body at a residence owned by Hout after they received a tip from an anonymous caller Wednesday night.
Several people may have witnessed the beating and subsequent murder of Benjamin Kaiser and they are investigating further.  Police Sergeant Chris Salyers says all available officers have been working the case since it came to their attention.
