Knik Arm Bridge Gets Federal Approval

Yesterday the Federal Highway Administration approved construction of a the Knik Arm bridge, an estimated 700-million dollar plus project linking Anchorage and Point MacKenzie. The federal okay is an important step, but hardly the final one before construction can begin.

Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority board chair, Michael Foster made his agency’s announcement to the federal approval at Mayor Dan Sullivan’s weekly press conference.
