Confrontations Reduced Outside Assembly Hearing

Last night’s second public hearing at the Anchorage Assembly on a charter amendment banning discrimination based on sexual orientation was remarkably like the one held a week ago. The arguments were similar, the emotions high. But outside the assembly chamber, there was a difference in “tone.”
