State Willing to Pay $30 Million to Get Drilling Rig to Cook Inlet

The state is willing to pay $30 million to get a drilling rig to Cook Inlet.  The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority voted Friday to invest in Buccaneer Energy’s plan to bring a jack-up rig to the inlet.   Buccaneer agreed to drill four wells with the rig.
