Former West High Football Player Drafted by Tampa Bay

Anchorage West High School tight end Daniel Hardy got word over the weekend that he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the NFL draft.  Hardy, 23, played at the University of Idaho.

If he makes the team, will be the 11th Alaskan to play in the NFL, the fourth still active.

Hardy says he has dreamed since grade school of becoming a professional athlete in soccer, basketball or football.
