Eight people in Anchorage have been charged in a set of gang-related killings spanning the last two years.
One victim was 17-year-old Desirae Dashon Douglas, apparently caught in crossfire at a party. Another is 19-year-old Devante Jordan, who police believe was one of the ones who shot Douglas. He died last month in another gang shootout.
